Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading towards Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its stunning landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a high concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Here, you will see large herds of elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and over 500 species of birds. After an exciting game drive, you will head to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eden of Africa.” This natural wonder is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as a diverse range of wildlife including hippos, cheetahs, and hyenas. The crater’s lush environment supports an incredible concentration of animals, making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing in Tanzania.
